The Mommy Dashers
Jen                    &                  Alicia

We tend to overthink everything, and then overshare what we are thinking about. We also are prone to overeating, and at times, overdrinking, which at the ripe old age of 40 pretty much means we finished 2.5 glasses of wine and our poor husbands have to deal with us hysterically giggling for about an hour and snapping about 34 selfies, before they steer us into bed and leave a bottle of water and some Advil on our nightstands.

(This pretty much sums up our three nights in Vegas this Fall. Wine, laughing, headache, repeat.)

Jen is a mom, a wife, a teacher and the co-creator of The Mommy Dash. She is newly 40 , yet she keeps telling everyone she's 38, not because she's trying to lie about her age but just because she has the memory of a flea. She is the oldest of four siblings, which accounts for her bossy pants attitude. Jen loves to eat (especially if her husband is cooking), run, read self help books (or read the first two chapters of self help books...), hike with her family including their rescue dog Ollie, travel, coach cheerleading and is dangerously confident that she can do anything she sets her mind to if she just Googles it (ie: create a website, convince her kids to sleep in their own beds, run a marathon...stay tuned for results of both of those).

Alicia is also a mom, a wife, a teacher and the co-creator of The Mommy Dash (hence why her and Jen have been friends for almost 18 years and pretty much share a brain). She is a lover of all things American (including history and traveling around this great nation), big bowls of Moscato and a good pair of jeans.  Alicia kinda sorta doesn't love to run, but does it anyway because it gives her and Jen hours of uninterrupted conversation, and an excuse to eat enormous amounts of cookies and cheese.  Between the hours of 3 and 7, she often finds herself in the car, shuttling her adorable budding performer to theater and dance, with her energetic buddy Ben at her side, or sneaking out of the house on a much needed date night with her husband.   Alicia is a master of technology, organization and has the amazing power to put her kids to bed by 8:00 PM every night...which makes her friends think that she may secretly be Wonder Woman.
